We are an a cappella women's chorus located in Central Maryland. Our 115 members come from 5 surrounding states including Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and Virginia.

The History of Pride
Our chorus received its charter in December 1993 with 23 members under director Janet Ashford. Since that time, we have grown to a chorus of over 100 women.
Over the years, Pride has earned multiple international medals including three 2nd Place international medals.
We were very saddened by the loss of Janet in early 2009.
However, her love and passion for this chorus lives on in each one of us, and with our new director, Joe Cerutti, we are working towards raising Pride of Baltimore to new heights.

Meet Master Director Joe Cerutti!
Joe CeruttiMaster Director of Pride of Baltimore Chorus
Joe Cerutti became the musical director of Pride of Baltimore Chorus in the summer of 2009 and received his Sweet Adelines Master Director designation in 2011. He holds a masters degree in choral conducting from Boston University and is a passionate barbershopper.
Joe has much experience in the barbershop music world including directing the Alexandria Harmonizers men’s chorus. He is both a Master Director and a Judge in the men’s Barbershop Harmony Society.
As a natural-born teacher, Joe also coaches choruses and barbershop quartets throughout the world.

The goal of the chorus is provide a forum for women from all walks of life who wished to sing and perform at the highest possible level. A focus on outstanding singing, above all else, has been a hallmark of the chorus since its inception.Board of Directors
